About

Lorraine The Wrighter is the author known in one Danika Wright, former member of a lot of cover bands. Seldom seen onstage. Heard everywhere.

Lorraine The Wrighter, first, middle, last, has been writing down the top of her head since she finally figured out how to hold a pencil correctly. She was 14. Originally from several towns, but most connected to none of them, she is willing to relocate to your town as soon as yesterday if your city council has been looking to fill the position of Town Eccentric.

She now holds a BA in Music from University of Nevada, Reno, College Rape Culture Capital of The World; and an MA in Music Industry Administration from California State University, Northridge, The One With All The Creepy Jokesters. Can you smell the bridges?

To date, she has written several collections of poetry, one play, a literary novella, a series of loosely-connected science fiction short stories, and one folk song that no one will ever hear. She has a running memoir typing and scratching its way out of the egg. She is living a human life, as well, but that won’t be ready for publication for approximately 75 more years. Any of these published works are available for purchase somewhere, and the ghosts of some others are looking around. Have fun looking. I leave word cards around.
